Purpose of Role
The Exam Cell Assistant supports the smooth, accurate, and timely execution of all internal and external examinations in the school. The role involves coordinating exam logistics, maintaining confidentiality, preparing exam materials, and assisting the Exam Cell Coordinator/Controller in all examination-related tasks.

CSA Exam Cell Assistant (CBSE)
Key Responsibilities
1. Exam Preparation
- Assist in preparing exam schedules, seating plans, and duty rosters.
- Print, photocopy, and securely handle question papers and answer sheets.
- Arrange classrooms, stationery, and exam materials before exams.
- Ensure proper labeling of rooms, question paper bundles, and student lists.
2. Coordination & Logistics
- Support the smooth conduct of internal assessments, term exams, and board examinations.
- Coordinate with teachers, invigilators, and department heads on exam requirements.
- Manage the distribution and collection of question papers and answer booklets.
- Help maintain discipline and silence in exam areas.
3. Data & Record Management
- Maintain student exam records, attendance sheets, and mark registers.
- Update exam-related data in school software/ERP systems.
- File and store past exam documents, reports, and confidential records safely.
- Prepare result summaries, mark sheets, and exam reports as instructed.
4. Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure confidentiality of question papers and exam materials at all times.
- Follow all rules and guidelines issued by the school/board (CBSE/State Board).
- Assist in implementing malpractice prevention measures.
5. Post-Exam Tasks
- Collect and sort answer sheets for evaluation.
- Support teachers in the evaluation process by organizing answer scripts.
- Assist in result processing and publishing.
- Prepare documentation for re-evaluation, supplementary exams, etc., if required.
